Good for the environment
The PREFA aluminium drainage system is the best choice from an ecological point of view too. This is because aluminium does not release harmful heavy metal ions into the sewage water when gutters and pipes are constantly flushed out with rainwater, as is the case with conventional materials.
Think about your gutter after a storm or especially in autumn/winter.: Tip from the experts:
In autumn, but also after strong winds, rain or hail, leaves and branches may block the gutter. As a result, water can no longer drain off and may thus overflow. The accumulated water can also freeze in winter and damage the gutter and pipe. In any case, the rain barrel should be emptied and the rainwater collector should be closed and sealed with the corresponding plug in autumn to prevent frost damage.
Tip from the experts: Use rainwater sensibly: Also save money and resources in the garden.
The valuable rainwater does not have to seep away unused or be fed directly into the sewage system, as it can also be used as lime-free irrigation water for the garden. The PREFA water collector or downpipe cleanout is used for this purpose: they divert the rainwater into the rain barrel.
Colour range of the PREFA half-round gutter
The PREFA half-round gutter is available in the classic standard colours to match the roof and façade elements. The colour range in P.10 quality is constantly being expanded and adapted.
The P.10 finish is a high-quality and malleable lacquer coating that does not flake off, thus there is no need for tiresome repainting or touching up. The roof drainage is part of the PREFA all-in-one system made of aluminium and therefore fits perfectly with the PREFA roof and façade systems, both visually and functionally.

- Above all for color quality P.10, it is almost impossible to define values due to the surface structure. In addition, the PREFA Siding colours P.10 stone grey, P.10 sand brown, P.10 Prefa bronze, P.10 patina green, natural oak, patina grey, walnut and grey oak are based on natural colours made up of several different shades.

Accessories for the PREFA half-round gutter
If you opt for the PREFA gutter system, you will get a cleverly designed all-in-one system with 100% original accessories. The colours of all accessory products are perfectly matched with the PREFA roof and façade systems. The PREFA gutter outlet creates a perfect transition to the PREFA downpipe, whereby the rainwater is safely directed from the roof towards the ground.
The PREFA overbar
For additional bracing of the gutters, and especially in snowy regions, PREFA overbars can be mounted between the gutter brackets, which are mounted on the rafters.
